As for inventory space, I find that having infinite space or an arbitrary amount of slots isn't the path. If Downpour got one thing right, it was the realtime inventory and accessing notes/the map without pausing the game.

What's your preference, and what would be your ideal system? We started with unlimited inventory space, progressed to a more limited inventory system. We've watched Silent Hill's design philosophy change as time has gone on.
