When under attack, these units must be protected at all costs because they are arguably the most valuable and vulnerable characters available in the Holy Roman Empire. In addition to increasing the rate at which villagers gather, the Prelate acts as a healing unit in battle and inspires nearby units, granting them abilities. In Age of Empires 4, the Holy Roman Empire’s abilities allow them to quickly fortify a position, construct siege weapons such as Springald Catapults, and produce unique units with valuable skills.
